Quick Access: Your Activity Log

Use this to filter/manage posts, comments, interactions in bulk (via Manage Activity).

If the link redirects or doesn't open directly, navigate manually: Profile picture (top right) → Settings & Privacy → Activity Log. From there, select "Manage Activity" or filter categories like Posts.

1. Quick Bulk: Limit All Past Posts to Friends (Best "Disable" in One Go)

Changes audience of all old public/Friends-of-Friends posts to **Friends** only. Fastest privacy sweep—no deletion needed.

Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
In left menu: Privacy → Your activity / Who can see your stuff?
Find Limit who can see past posts (or Limit Past Posts).
Click/Tap Limit Past Posts → Confirm.

Result: All qualifying old posts now Friends-only. Reversible per post later. Does not affect messages or comments on others' posts.

2. Bulk Archive or Delete Your Posts (Batches of \~50)

Use Activity Log's Manage Activity to hide (Archive) or remove (Trash) old posts in groups. Repeat for large histories.

Go to your Profile → Three dots (...) → Activity Log (or use the direct link above).
Tap/Click Manage Activity (or Your Facebook Activity → Posts → Manage Posts).
Filter by date/year/category (e.g., old posts).
Select multiple (up to \~50) → Choose:
- Move to Archive (hides from timeline; visible only to you; reversible).
- Move to Trash (deleted after 30 days; restorable in window).

Tip: Archive first if unsure—easy to unarchive. No true "select all" for thousands, but filtering by year speeds it up.

3. Messages in Messenger (Edit/Unsend Limits)

No bulk for old messages—handle individually or per conversation.

Edit: Tap/hold your message → Edit (only within \~15 minutes; up to 5 edits).
Unsend/Remove: Tap/hold → More → Unsend → Choose "Unsend for everyone" (removes from all views) or "for you". Works on older messages too.

Important: Recipients may have seen/screenshot before unsend. No mass unsend tool exists.

4. Comments, Reactions & Other Interactions

Mostly individual; some bulk via Activity Log filters.

Your comments: Tap/hold → Edit or Delete (no time limit).
Reactions: Click reaction again → Change/remove anytime.
Bulk: In Activity Log → Filter to Comments → Select & delete where available (limits apply).

Cannot edit others' content—only hide tags or report.

Always download your data first if needed: Settings → Your Facebook Information → Download Your Information.
